Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Cringe account and all associated data. You can delete your account yourself inside the app in under a minute, or request deletion by email if you can no longer sign in. Deletion is permanent.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the Cringe app and sign in.
- Go to your Profile, then open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm when prompted.
Your account and data are erased from our live systems immediately, and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the email address registered to your account so we can verify your identity:
- Send to support@cringeapp.ai with the subject DELETE ACCOUNT.
- We confirm your identity and delete your account within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove all of the following:

| Learning & progress | Completed lessons, accuracy, vocabulary and grammar banks, topic mastery, review schedules |
| Gamification | XP, streak, gems, lives, achievements, league standing |
| Social & messages | Friend connections, chat messages, AI tutor conversation history |
| Device data | Push notification token, session tokens |
What is kept, and for how long
